Bruce Banner’s famous cousin is finally getting her own series! The premiere date is set for Marvel Studios’ SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW coming to Disney+ and bringing back everyone’s ever-loving green goliath — plus one more!
Let’s face it in the scheme of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Incredible Hulk just doesn’t get the love that the hero deserves. Everyone marks the start of the Marvel Studios revolution with the introduction of the Invincible Iron Man in the 2008 big-screen blockbuster, but when The Incredible Hulk premiered, it featured the first stinger that would establish a connected theatrical narrative. Unfortunately, that movie’s star didn’t play nicely with the studio and the role would get recast when Marvel’s The Avengers assembled in 2012.
Cut to 2023 and the MCU continues to blow up to a degree that is unmatched across all media, but predominantly in everyone's home theater where the stories just keep coming. Soon to make her emerald green debut and continue a legacy of bone-crushing heroic dominance will be none other than SHE-HULK: Attorney At Law starring Tatiana Maslany as the titular heroine and her alter-ego, Jennifer Walters who is the cousin of Bruce Banner, the ever-loving Hulk! The new Original Series is set to premiere exclusively on the streaming service Disney+ beginning August 17.
As expected Mark Ruffalo will be reprising his role as super scientist and Avenger, Bruce Banner, and if the story unfolds similarly to her comic book exploits, after requiring a blood transfusion from Banner to save her life, Jennifer Walters discovers that when she becomes enraged she transforms into a female version of The Hulk… The She-Hulk! The character was introduced in the 1980s and created by Stan Lee and John Buscema. She-Hulk would go on to become a major player in the Marvel Comics Universe joining the Avengers and also famously joining The Fantastic Four.
