On his next mission, Daniel Craig’s James Bond must match mitts and whits with Rami Malek who plays a diabolical genius that holds the fate of the free world in his hands in NO TIME TO DIE.
James Bond has also fallen prey to COVID-19. The next and arguably final installment featuring Daniel Craig as the internationally familiar super spy Agent OO7 has been delayed to theaters because of the pandemic. No Time To Die directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga the 25th film in the series is without a doubt becoming one of the most anticipated films of the blockbuster season that wasn’t. And even though some films have given in to limited releases in certain markets, while others have decided to take their chances with the straight to Digital Release option, Metro Goldwyn Mayer is optimistic that movie-goers will be exciting to experience the film on the big screen, when quarantine is finally lifted.
The Bond flick isn’t the only hold out either. Warner Bros Studios insists that it will stay the task with its intent to release Wonder Woman 1984 starring Gal Gadot to the big screen, at least so long as its director Patty Jenkins persists that the film is meant for an auditorium experience, at least before it comes to home markets. So in the meantime, the studios continue to bait our interests with snippets here and there and the promise that these features will be worth the wait. In the event of No Time To Die, aside from the fact that Craig will be passing the baton to a new Bond once this picture is released, it will be the star’s last since assuming the role in 2006’s Casino Royale, the film is threatening the raise the stakes and its villains are no exception!
Since rocking the world in his critically acclaimed and award-winning performance in Bohemian Rhapsody Rami Malek has become one of Hollywood’s greatest commodities. How does Rami follow-up his star turn as Freddie Mercury, if not with a coveted seat in a James Bond action movie? He plays Safin in No Time To Die and is considered an adversary unlike any James Bond has ever faced before, and this film will be full of them! The arc of the story promises to reunite many of the recent franchise’s favorite players including Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes as “M”. Fingers-crossed audiences won’t have too long to wait to get back in James Bond’s crosshairs, but in the meantime here is a look at the film’s trailer:
No Time To Die starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, Agent 007 is slated to hit theaters worldwide on November 20, 2020.
