WHAM! is back on the charts with a holiday hit for the ages!

The holiday season has so interestingly inspired pop artists to record original music to appeal to the season's joy or cover time-honored standards that are always festive favorites. In the early 1980s, the pop duo WHAM! was at the height of their success! George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley were riding the wave with their chart-topping hits “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” and “Careless Whisper,” only George Michael was in avid pursuit of making it big with a track meant for the ages — the result was “Last Christmas.”

Forty years later, the single is still one of the most cherished and beloved holiday songs of all time. It has reached #1 in 16 countries, becoming the fourth highest-selling single of all time in the UK. To commemorate the moment “Last Christmas,” the 40th Anniversary EP has been released and is now on limited-edition vinyl, CD, and Digital, available here. Additionally, WHAM!: Last Christmas Unwrapped, a brand-new documentary revealing the story behind the music, will debut on Netflix on December 15.

The tracklist includes a live version recorded in Wembley Arena in 2006 that cannot be missed.

Here is your #FanzEyeView of Andrew Ridgeley, who appeared recently on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon:
