With a highly anticipated new album just weeks from release, Kylie Minogue is happily tripping up the airwaves with remixes for the premiere single off of DISCO featuring an Acoustic Version and a ready for the dance floor remix from Syn Cole!
So the club scene doesn’t feel or look anything like it used to. The dance floor devotees have had to sit out the majority of the EDM music festival season and circuit parties across the world have been put on a “pause” due to still largely unconfined COVID-19 pandemic. That hasn’t prevented pop music and dance artists from continuing to inspire the movement with new sounds. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Dua Lipa is defying the quarantine and delivering on some epic dance tracks, but they’re not the only ones…
When Kylie Minogue announced that she too would be releasing new music just two short years after the critically acclaimed 2018 release Golden and the live album that followed and captured the excitement from her European “Golden” Tour, fans were over the moon. When the title of said project was announced — DISCO — fans went into overdrive! Over the course of her illustrious, career Minogue has always maintained her legion of dance disciples and emerged as one of the genres leading innovators.
Her latest single, the lead off of DISCO is the jaunty “Say Something” that although isn’t the usual club-thumper her audience might have appreciated, it speaks to the times and asks for her listeners to remain optimistic and remind them she’s “always thinking bout ya!” Reminiscent of her 2010 hit, “All the Lovers” the track has received the remix treatment from Syn Cole which raising the tempo of the track to new levels. Syn Cole has had success with the reworking of tracks for Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus and, Katy Perry.

The track has also been rearranged as a very soulful “Acoustic” track that would sit appropriately on Kylie Minogue’s Golden sessions which had the artist deliver some music that was much more paired down from her usual catalog. DISCO will undoubtedly service
